He graduated from Griffith University and completed his hospital training at Prince Alexandra Hospital and Westmead Hospital, gaining broad clinical experience across a wide range of medical and surgical specialties.

In addition to general practice, Dr Shi is formally qualified in cosmetic injectables and has undertaken dedicated training in aesthetic medicine.
